The ACROS building in Fukuoka, Japan, is a rather impressive example of green architecture (or 'sustainable architecture' to use a better buzzword) The elegant urban facade opens onto the busy city streets; while the southern side, covered in lush, colourful vegetation, extends from ground level over multiple one-storey terraces to the top of the fifteen floor building. (image Jess Gough flickr)
