Here is something for those wanting a challenge: climb Mt. Everest. Mount Everest is the world’s highest mountain, with a peak at 8,848 metres (29,029 feet) above sea level. While not posing substantial technical climbing challenges, Everest presents dangers such as altitude sickness, weather and wind. About 3,200 persons have scaled the summit, with 210 deaths (data from 2010)
